Bill Bice
CEO
A serial entrepreneur, Bill started his first company at age 18, growing ProLaw Software into the largest law firm automation system for small and mid-size law firms. Joining the acquirer at Thomson Reuters, Bill became a member of the management team of the $2B West division, where he used the marketing sophistication of an industry leader to take a brand new offering to market, West km.
Ken Bassham
Chief Revenue Officer
Ken’s experience helping businesses grow started with joining ProLaw Software in 1998 as the National Sales Manager. During his tenure, he rolled out the B2B sales team that accelerated ProLaw’s expansion, leading to acquisition by Thomson Reuters. Ken joined the team at Thomson Reuters as Senior Director of Sales, overseeing the law firm segment.
Ben Morin
CTO
Ben is a seasoned technologist, software developer, and entrepreneur with nearly 30 years' experience, specializing in DevOps and SaaS development. Throughout his career, he has built innovative technology solutions and achieved out-sized results from modestly sized teams. As CTO, he directs technology strategy and oversees platform architecture. Ben was previously the Director of Software Development at ProLaw Software and a Senior Software Architect at Thomson Reuters. In 2005, he co-founded boomtime and served fifteen years as its CTO.
Stefani Odom-Wertz
COO
Stefani Odom-Wertz brings more than 20 years of operational leadership to nQ Zebraworks. As Chief Operating Officer, she focuses on developing repeatable processes and putting together and supporting teams that deliver world-class delivery, implementations and customer service. Stef previously served in development and customer service leadership positions for 13 years at leading legal tech companies ProLaw Software and Thomson Reuters and was the VP of Operations for technology-enabled marketing firm boomtime.
Erin Barrio
Marketing Director
Erin Barrio serves as the Marketing Director at nQ Zebraworks, where she leads initiatives that empower law firms to navigate the evolving landscape of hybrid operations through innovative Queues technology. With a robust background in communications and extensive experience in marketing for legal professionals and technologists, Erin has a proven track record of amplifying organizational missions and driving growth. Prior to joining nQ Zebraworks, she excelled as the Director of Marketing Operations at a B2B marketing agency, delivering strategic solutions to clients in the legal and professional services sectors.
Nicholas Blume
Director, Finance
Nicholas serves as the Director of Finance at nQ Zebraworks, bringing over 7 years of expertise in accounting, financial analysis, budget administration, and forecasting. Known for his ability to present insightful financial and analytical reports to top-level leadership, Nicholas focuses on driving organizational effectiveness, optimizing processes, and achieving operational excellence. His dedication to growth and performance improvement ensures that nQ Zebraworks continues to thrive.
David Shafiee
Senior Director, Document Workflows
David brings 25 years of experience working in the document capture and process automation industry. Prior to joining nQzw, David served as the Director of Business Development at Nth Degree, driving significant business for the organization. Prior to that, he worked at Nuance, a leading provider of speech, imaging, and customer interaction solutions.
Phil Hewson
Director, Product Design
Phil leads our product design team which focuses on product specification, user experience, prototyping and solutions architecture. He joined nQ Zebraworks in 2006 as an implementation specialist and managed projects for our legal clients in the UK, Europe, Africa, and Asia. He brings that same focus and dedication to ensuring our products meet the needs of our clients today and into the future.
Sara Pitchford
Sr. Managing Director
Sara brings over 25+ years of experience in legal technology, and uses her extensive expertise in law firm operations and billing processes to enhance the suite of Billing Workflow solutions at nQ Zebraworks.
Nicola Smith
Director, Customer Success
Nicola oversees client relationships. Nicola has been with nQ Zebraworks for five years and has several years of experience in software sales and account management, working and presenting to Magic and Silver circle law firms. Nicola's prior experience serving as a barrister affords her a unique understanding of the kinds of automated workflows law firms need, particularly in the era of hybrid operations.
Mark McNeal
Director of Development
Mark orchestrates the efforts behind developing, releasing, certifying and maintaining the software products and services that have established nQ Zebraworks in the legal technology space. He brings with him over 10 years of implementation and project management experience within the information technology field, the balance spent managing an array of IT projects, specializing in community banks.
Greg Blatz
Sr. Director, Operations
Greg Blatz is directly responsible for managing the company operations, including implementations and support teams in all offices and management of both internal and client documentation and training, ensuring that client requirements are met in a timely and consistent manner. He is also the senior management member overseeing the company’s office in Dayton, Ohio. Greg has more than 15 years of experience with the company in technical positions. His prior experience includes all facets of client management, including software support, project management and hardware implementations. Greg holds a bachelor’s degree from Wright State University.
Holt Kernodle
Director of IT and Information Security
Holt has decades of experience in IT solutions, operations, and deskside support. As a ProLaw alum, Holt is deeply familiar with legal tech, and is an expert in Server Administration, IP networking, complex design and deployment of technology hardware in new facilities, and establishing secure remote/hybrid work environments.
