We were pleased to attend the first Masterclass in NetLaw Media’s series for 2023 – Leadership tools for a new legal era. Attended by Account Executive for the UK and EMEA, Tony Barrett, our key takeaways from the first Masterclass were:
- Everyone is on a digital transformation journey – the pandemic acceleration adoption of technologies and movement to the cloud. Now, law firms need strategies for dealing with legacy hardware, digitisation, and risk
- Hybrid is here to stay – coupled with the fast adotption of new technology, work from anywhere is here to stay, which requires a different kind of leadership to retain and procure talent
- IT for law firms is changing rapidly and so is the role of the IT Leader – today’s expectations and requirements for managing a law firm’s tech stack and moving into the future look a lot different than they did just a few years ago. Law firms and legal professional requires solutions that power hybrid work and extend the discipline of the firm’s security infrastructure; a tall order for IT leaders.
We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our peers in legal tech, and NetLaw Media’s Masterclass delivered lively, thoughtful discussion. We’re looking forward to our next NetLaw media event, British Legal Technology Forum, on Wednesday, May 10th at Old Billingsgate.
If you plan on attending this year’s BLTF, please stop by stand C07 and grab a Zeke zebra from Tony or Nicola! We’d love the chance to show you our latest Queues technology.
